**Day 1: Arrival in Moshi**
– Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our team will transfer you to your hotel in Moshi.
– Meet your climbing guide for a thorough briefing about the upcoming trek and a gear check.
– Take the rest of the day to relax, acclimate, and prepare for the adventure ahead.

**Day 2: Moshi to Machame Gate to Machame Camp**
– After breakfast, we’ll drive to the Machame Gate (1,800m) at the Kilimanjaro National Park.
– Begin the trek through the lush rainforest with a gradual ascent.
– Enjoy the diverse flora and fauna of the region as you make your way to Machame Camp (3,010m).
– Overnight stay in tents at the campsite.

**Day 3: Machame Camp to Shira Camp**
– Wake up to a hearty breakfast and start your hike through the heather and moorland zones.
– Pass through the scenic valley and ascend to Shira Camp (3,845m).
– Marvel at the stunning view of the Shira Plateau and Mount Meru in the distance.
– Rest and acclimatize for the next day’s trek.

**Day 4: Shira Camp to Barranco Camp**
– Today’s trek takes you to Barranco Camp (3,950m) via Lava Tower (4,630m).
– Climb to the Lava Tower for excellent acclimatization before descending to Barranco Camp.
– The descent helps your body adapt to the increasing altitude.
– Barranco Camp offers incredible views of the imposing Barranco Wall.

**Day 5: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp**
– After breakfast, conquer the famous Barranco Wall, an exhilarating scramble.
– Continue along the southern circuit route, passing through the alpine desert.
– Reach Karanga Camp (4,035m) for the night, nestled beneath the glaciers of the Southern Icefield.

**Day 6: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp**
– Continue the ascent towards Barafu Camp (4,680m), the base camp for the summit attempt.
– The landscape becomes increasingly barren as you approach the high camp.
– Rest and prepare for the final ascent to Uhuru Peak.

**Day 7: Summit Day – Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp**
– Start the summit attempt in the middle of the night, usually around midnight.
– Trek through the steep scree and snow to reach Stella Point (5,745m) at the crater rim.
– Continue along the rim to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) – the highest point in Africa!
– Witness the awe-inspiring sunrise from the Roof of Africa.
– Descend back to Barafu Camp for a short rest and refreshments.
– Continue the descent to Mweka Camp (3,100m) for the final overnight on the mountain.

**Day 8: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate to Moshi**
– After breakfast, descend through the lush rainforest to Mweka Gate (1,640m).
– Receive your summit certificates and bid farewell to your mountain crew.
– Our team will drive you back to Moshi, where you can celebrate your achievement with a well-deserved dinner.

**Day 9: Departure**
– Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
– If time allows, explore Moshi and shop for souvenirs before bidding Tanzania farewell.
