**Day 1: Arrival in Moshi**
– Karibu! Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our team will transfer you to your hotel in Moshi.
– Meet your climbing guide for a thorough briefing about the upcoming trek and a gear check.
– Take the rest of the day to relax, acclimate, and prepare for the adventure ahead.

**Day 2: Moshi to Rongai Gate to Simba Camp**
– After breakfast, we’ll drive to the Rongai Gate (1,950m) at the northern side of Kilimanjaro.
– Begin the trek through the lush rainforest, offering a unique perspective of the mountain.
– Reach Simba Camp (2,650m) by late afternoon.
– Overnight stay in tents at the campsite.

**Day 3: Simba Camp to Kikelewa Camp**
– Today’s hike takes you through the moorland zone, characterized by low shrubs and unique flora.
– Ascend steadily, passing through the Second Cave en route to Kikelewa Camp (3,600m).
– Enjoy the impressive views of the plains below and the Kibo summit above.

**Day 4: Kikelewa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn Camp**
– Continue the ascent through the Alpine desert zone, with the Kibo and Mawenzi peaks in sight.
– Arrive at Mawenzi Tarn Camp (4,330m) in the afternoon.
– Rest and acclimatize for the next day’s trek.

**Day 5: Mawenzi Tarn Camp to Kibo Hut**
– Today’s hike takes you across the saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.
– Trek steadily towards Kibo Hut (4,703m), the base camp for the summit attempt.
– Reach Kibo Hut in the early afternoon.
– Rest, have an early dinner, and prepare for the summit attempt, starting later in the night.

**Day 6: Summit Day – Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut**
– Start the summit attempt in the middle of the night, usually around midnight.
– Trek in the darkness, ascending through the steep scree to reach Gilman’s Point (5,681m) at the crater rim.
– Continue along the rim to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) – the highest point in Africa!
– Witness the breathtaking sunrise over the vast plains below.
– Descend back to Kibo Hut for a short rest and refreshments.
– Continue the descent to Horombo Hut (3,720m) for the night.

**Day 7: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate to Moshi**
– After breakfast, begin the final descent through the lush rainforest.
– Reach the Marangu Gate (1,860m), where you’ll receive your summit certificates.
– Bid farewell to your mountain crew and drive back to Moshi.
– Celebrate your incredible achievement with a well-deserved farewell dinner.

**Day 8: Departure**
– Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
– If time allows, explore Moshi and shop for souvenirs before saying Kwaheri (Goodbye) to Tanzania.
